The goal is to drink 64 oz of filtered water /day. This is best if on an empty stomach. Your body needs the acids and digestive fluids in your stomach to get rid of food. Our water should be filtered with a loose carbon water filter. If you need a water filter I have access to loose carbon water filters… under the sink/counter/and portable and can get those for your home. I truly believe that bottled water is a waste of your money. Most bottled water has been stripped of its essential minerals in the purification process. Your body needs these minerals in 64 oz of water a day. A few brands of bottled water put these minerals back into their water (Fuji, Evian, Dasani, and a couple other brands that I can’t think of right now… However, drinking all that water store-bought could get rather pricey.
Besides, bottled water lacks environmental sustainability
Disclaimer: you may occasionally find me with a store bought bottle in my hands…
This is very helpful information, Eric. I have a Brita filter in my refrigerator. Is that a “loose carbon” water filter? What does that actually mean?
Yes, Brita is a loose carbon water filter.
What is loose carbon? Basicaly it is increases the surface area for the absorbtion of the contaminants in water… while leaving vital minerals and vitamins in your water.
